The Difference Between Knowing and Doing

FacebookTwitterLinkedInShare

Many clients come to me knowing what they should be doing, whether it’s hire more help, get their financials in order, delegate out to their teams, or let go of that employee who is just not performing up to par. Whether you are a business-owner or not, we normally all have a good sense of knowing what we should do. However, oftentimes just knowing does not translate into actually doing, which is why we get stuck and we don’t see the results we want.

So how do we bridge the gap between knowing and doing? First we need to understand what the difference is. Knowing lives in our heads, whereas doing is executed by our hearts, it’s putting that knowledge into action. So what gets in the way? Our minds, our egos, our excuses, and taking the wrong kinds of action.

Let me help you out here. Watch or listen below as I take you through how to cross over from knowing into doing, and I give 6 different strategies you can implement to get out of your head and take the right kinds of actions today.
